I had a dream about being an author, where I made a memoir exposing my family. I wrote about how my dad encouraged bad behavior such as bodyshaming(i once bodyshamed adele which i feel sorry about, but i think she forgave me?) , racism, etc. And I wrote about my mother being a groomer and pedophile towards my dad which I recieve backlash from both of my parent's family. They called me a liar and nothing about attention seeker. I accepted it and I just can't help but think bad of myself
Dreams about being an author and writing a memoir typically symbolize a desire for self-expression and the need to uncover hidden truths or experiences. In this dream, you may be exploring unresolved issues within your family and attempting to expose them through your writing.
The mention of your father encouraging bad behavior, such as body-shaming and racism, could indicate feelings of resentment or dissatisfaction with his actions or your upbringing. It suggests that you may have experienced negative influences from him, which affected your perception of others.
The part about body-shaming Adele and feeling sorry about it suggests regret for participating in harmful behavior. The dream indicates that you may have recognized the harm caused by body-shaming and sought forgiveness for it.
Regarding your mother, the dream portrays her as a groomer and pedophile towards your father. These symbols may not reflect literal occurrences but rather represent unresolved issues or conflicts within your parents' relationship. These revelations in your memoir may be metaphorical expressions of your inner conflicts and the difficulties of accepting the truth about your family's dynamics.
The backlash you receive from both sides of your parents' families reflects the fear of judgment and rejection. It highlights the internal struggle you may face when exposing uncomfortable truths or going against the beliefs held by others. The dream suggests that you may feel isolated or unsupported in your quest for truth and self-expression.
The dream's overall message is that confronting and exposing deep-rooted family issues can be emotionally challenging. It may also indicate a need for self-acceptance and self-forgiveness, as you mention feeling bad about yourself. Consider reflecting on these emotions and seeking support from trusted individuals in your waking life to help process and understand these complex feelings.
